Do you get tired of right-clicking for the context menu in Windows Explorer, then waiting a few seconds, sometimes even longer! Just to make a new folder?
Fear not! Don't drive yourself mad, BXNewFolder is here!
Just install this handy little program and it lets you make new folder with the push of a button! Let me show you!

This is the Windows Explorer interface, notice the 'New Folder' button: [Picture of Windows Explorer with BXNewFolder button]

And this is the popup you get when you click the button or press the F12 key on your keyboard: [Picture of Windows Explorer with BXNewFolder popup] If you press SHIFT+ENTER then you have typed in a new folder name, you automatically navigate inside of it! How cool is that??

The best thing: BXNewFolder even works in Windows Vista! So try this great little piece of software from BAxBEx software, download BXNewFolder from http://www.baxbex.com/products.html#bxnewfolder, it's a nice, clean and simple Windows Explorer extension!

MagicISO, for your burning needs

As previously noted, I use MagicISO to create an ISO file, or another type of enhanced ISO file which is called UIF, Universal Image Format, which you can even password protect!

With MagicISO you can also make autoboot, multiboot and even floppy drive images!
It also does some cool conversions, what about converting images to .ISO, .BIN/.CUE or .NRG? Burn an ISO? Of course! MagicISO does it, all, for free!

In the menu I discovered a link for a DVD to AVI DivX converter, so you can label MagicISO as adware, but I do not think it is..

Also you can download the wonderful little program called MagicDisc, which mount your image to a driveletter, similar to Daemon Tools. However I prefer the latter..

So why are you still reading? Get your copy of MagicISO from http://www.magiciso.com/ today!

Daemon Tools: mount 'em!

As if the convenience of SlickRun, our previous free software wasn't enough, here is another one for ya: Daemon Tools!

If you are fond of downloading ISO's, creating them yourself using a little piece called MagicISO I would like to address later or you like keep your backups of CD's and DVD's on your hard drive for easy switching, Daemon Tools is THE tool for you!

Simple, unintrusive ISO loader which sits in your system tray when started, just anxiously waiting to be used. It creates a virtual CD/DVD device ready to be used in your Windows Explorer window. So give Daemon Tools a try, see for yourself!

Beware however, the installer tries to install 'DAEMON Tools Searchbar' and 'Save Now' also, you would not want those if you would like to keep things simple. Just deselect them in the installer to do so.

Daemon Tools supports these formats: .cue/.bin, .iso, .nrg, .ccd, .bwt, .mds/.mdf, .cdi, .pdi, .b5t.

Download Daemon Tools from http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/download.php?mode=ViewCategory&catid=5.
